Guidelines for Performing or Presenting at 2011 FFA Convention

DEADLINE:  OCTOBER 1, 2010

Priority will be given to performers and presenters who did NOT perform or present in the same capacity during the 2010 FFA Convention.

All performers and presenters must fill out and mail the 2011 Convention Pre-Registration application form (located in the CONVENTION menu on the website) and send in the appropriate membership fee by the deadline of January 15, 2011.

All performers and presenters are responsible for artistic, travel, hotel, equipment and financial arrangements for themselves and their personnel.

The allotted time is limited to 45 minutes during a one hour time block.

Please submit your proposal to Irene Pruzan and must include the following:

  1. Your name and all participants
  2. Title of Presentation
  3. Description of session
  4. Time needed for set up and tear down
  5. Number of music stands needed
  6. Description suitable for the program book in 100 words or less
  7. JPG picture for the poster
  8. Bio suitable for program book in 50 words or less
  9. Type of Presentation:
    • Half Recital (25 minutes) or Full Recital (45 minutes)
    • Lecture Recital
    • Single piece for a concert
    • Workshop
  10. List composition titles, composer/arranger, composer dates and timing for each piece.
  11. Staff Accompanist - Yes/No
    • Full recital is $ 250.00
    • Half recital is $125.00
    • Single piece is $ 40.00
    • Checks are payable to Florida Flute Association sent to Cindy Bruce by November 1, 2010
